Moving is one of the most stressful events in a person's life. For an older adult, the stress of moving can be made even more difficult because of fear and anxiety about the future, poor health and limited income.

Pathways Community Outreach Services has a mission to help older adults on limited incomes make good choices in their living arrangements and assist them in finding the right support services they will need to live independently.

Many of our clients have faced the stress of moving several times because they found the necessary apartment living but were faced with no support. Success in older adult living depends on the quality of housing and the services offered in combination with the housing.

Pathways is also happy to consult with management of affordable living communities and to teach them about the existing community services for older adults.
